Introducing MetricQR Pro: Power Features for Serious Campaigns and Teams

Today we're launching MetricQR Pro — an optional paid plan that unlocks branded URLs, team workspaces, exportable analytics, and a suite of power features for people running serious QR campaigns. And before anything else, the most important part: the free plan isn't changing. Everything you use today stays free, unlimited, and watermark-free.

We built MetricQR on a simple promise: a genuinely generous free tier with no arbitrary limits. That promise hasn't moved an inch. Pro is purely additive — it sits on top of everything you already get for $0, forever.

The free plan still includes:

  • Unlimited QR codes — create as many as you want
  • Unlimited scans — no caps, no metering, no surprise paywalls
  • All 9 QR code types — URL, WiFi, vCard, SMS, email, phone, text, Bitcoin, and location
  • Dynamic, editable QR codes — change the destination without reprinting
  • Custom colors, logos & gradients — make codes match your brand
  • Real-time scan analytics — see scans as they happen
  • Geographic & device data — know where and how people scan
  • PNG, SVG & PDF downloads — print-ready in any format
  • No watermarks, no credit card — nothing held hostage behind a signup wall

If the free plan is all you need, that's wonderful — keep using it. Pro exists for the moment you outgrow it.

Pro adds eight features aimed at marketers, agencies, and teams who need more control, more polish, and more ways to measure what's working. Here's everything, and why each one matters.

Replace the auto-generated code in your short link (/c/abc123xyz) with a clean, memorable slug (/c/summer-sale).

Why it matters: Branded links look trustworthy in print and on packaging, they're easy to type if someone can't scan, and they reinforce your campaign name every time the URL is seen. A code like /c/spring-menu tells people exactly where they're going — random characters don't.

Create organizations and invite up to 10 members each, with three roles — Owner, Editor, and Viewer — and a full audit trail of who did what. The owner's subscription covers the whole team.

Why it matters: No more sharing one login. Give designers edit access, give clients view-only access, and keep a clear record of every change. There's no per-seat pricing — one Pro subscription covers the entire workspace, and you can run up to 3 organizations.

Download your scan data as CSV (raw scan rows) or a PDF summary report with charts, scoped to whatever date range you're viewing.

Why it matters: Pull scan data into your own spreadsheets and dashboards, or hand a clean, branded PDF to a client or your boss without screenshotting anything. Your analytics stop living only inside the app.

Require a password before a scanned QR code reveals its content.

Why it matters: Perfect for gated content, private events, internal documents, or member-only offers. The QR code can live out in public while the content behind it stays restricted to people who have the password.

Set a date and time for a code to automatically expire, with an optional fallback URL for scans that arrive after it's gone.

Why it matters: Limited-time offers, event passes, and seasonal campaigns can now expire on their own — no need to remember to take them down. Point expired scans at a "this promo has ended" page instead of a dead end.

Attach static UTM tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) that get appended to your destination URL automatically on every scan.

Why it matters: Your QR scans show up cleanly in Google Analytics and any other UTM-aware tool, sitting right alongside the rest of your marketing attribution. You finally get to see where QR fits in the bigger funnel.

Inject real-time context into your destination URL at the moment of each scan — scan ID, timestamp, date, device type, language, country, and city.

Why it matters: Where UTM tags are fixed, these are live. Your landing page can adapt to the scanner — greet someone in their language, surface a city-specific offer, or tailor the experience to mobile vs. desktop — using data passed straight through the redirect.

Organize QR codes with colored labels, filter your dashboard by them, and assign or remove labels across many codes at once with bulk actions.

Why it matters: Once you've got dozens of codes, structure is everything. Group by client, campaign, location, or status, then filter to exactly the set you care about in a click. Bulk operations turn a tedious cleanup into a five-second job.

Pro is $14/month (€14 in the EU), flat — plus local tax where applicable. That's the whole offer:

  • No per-user pricing — one subscription covers your entire team workspace
  • No annual contract — month to month, cancel anytime
  • No "contact sales" tier — what you see is what you get
  • No usage metering — Pro doesn't reintroduce limits the free plan never had

We deliberately kept this to a single, honest plan. No confusing matrix of tiers, no features dangled just out of reach to push you toward an enterprise quote.

If you're running campaigns, working with a team, or you just want branded links and exportable reports, head to your dashboard and upgrade in a couple of clicks. You'll have Pro the moment checkout completes.

And if the free plan already does everything you need — keep enjoying it. That's exactly what it's there for.
